An intensive yet an eye-opening experience. 11 Days of perseverance, sincerity and appreciativeness. How I wish I could do something more for them, the streetkids. Sometimes when you beg for something that you can't get, remember to always be appreciative. I've realised how certain things that are already with me may mean a thousand million importance to them. They want a better future. They want a better life and they're working for it. We, here in Singapore have everything including A HAPPY FAMILY. However, we're never are appreciative of all this. We take it for granted. Even an unfinished bowl of rice we throw can feed for at least a kid there who hasn't eaten for 3 days. Interaction was splendid. It's sad to see how the kids see us as inspirations to them. I can remember clearly when we 1st came down from the bus, they were already jumping for joy with smiles on their faces. Even some started to hold hands with various of the cambodian team. I figured how problems I'm coping may seem to be less difficult that the ones they're coping back at home. Definitely, I'll miss them. I'll miss the laughter, the touch and the significance of these kids and the inspiration they have on us. CAMBODIA HAS INSPIRED ME.
